The Position Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for managing the Orillia based Retail Warehouse Store with the goal of ensuring that customers receive the nutritional supplements they need to maintain their health in a timely and reliable fashion. Your focus will be on providing and ensuring an exceptional level of customer service, managing and recruiting the retail staff and organizing and promoting the retail environment to increase our customer base. Your customer centric approach to retail will lay the foundation for your success.
Responsibilities
Continuously improve the Retail Store to optimize customer service and efficiency
Assist customers, educate on products and process transactions
Go above and beyond for customers who have concerns with service, pricing, etc.
Manage Retail staff including scheduling, ensuring consistent and appropriate coverage
Provide formal and informal performance feedback and encouragement
Coordinate and assist with training, supporting staff to attend and participate in tele-trainings, webinars, manufacturer training, etc.
Able to keep team motivated, committed, positive and productive
Coordinate, support and train staff on procedures and new products
Collaborate with Accounts Payable for cash handling, payment changes and POS system
Prepare products for displays, events and seminars
Organize customer special orders by documenting detailed information
Assist with inventory preparation
Continuously improve procedures, update pricing and signage as needed
Location: Orillia
Hours: Monday to Friday with alternating weekends
Compensation: Salary + Annual Bonus
Requirements
3 yrs experience within Natural Health Product industry
5 yrs Retail Management with excellent leadership and team building
Ability to communicate about various supplements to continuously improve customers health
An approachable and friendly demeanor
Problem solving, solution based mind-set and flexibility
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High energy with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player who contributes to achieving the goal of superior customer service
Excellent organization skills and record keeping
Strong computer skills
