Job Interview Questions for Perfect Hires

Mike McCarthy

One of my favorite writers on Talent Management is John Sullivan, an internationally known HR thought-leader from the Silicon Valley. In this article he lays out an interview framework that focuses on a few key elements such as assessing a candidates ability to problem solve.

"If you were hiring a chef, you would ask them to cook a meal. By taking a “job content” approach and having an applicant do some of the actual work, is the best way to separate top candidates from average ones."
