Candidate Assessments

 

Candidate assessments are typically used for critical hires where a client cannot afford to make a mistake. These simulation based assessments are very different from personality profiles and other forms of online assessments.

Candidate assessments initially focused on sales and marketing roles. Sales was a logical starting place as it is critical in hiring sales people to quickly separate the good workers from the good interviewers. However, once our clients saw the impact of our process, they pushed us into areas that we had never envisioned.

 

Our process is now used in cross functional departments including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Human Resources.

 

We even assess candidates for positions in Engineering and Information Technology.  Here clients are comfortable assessing the technical skills. We focus on the soft skills and behavioral traits – communication, interpersonal, attitude, motivation, etc. we have found that these soft skills are often more important than technical ability as they usually determine success or failure.
